A boost for Christchurch airport's decarbonisation ambitions - with a new hydrogen testing facility unveiled

A boost for Christchurch airport's decarbonisation ambitions - with a new hydrogen testing facility unveiled

New Zealand zero-emission transition tech company Fabrum has partnered with the airport on the advanced liquid hydrogen test site, as part of its renewable energy precinct, Kowhai Park.

Fabrum executive chair, Christopher Boyle, says making liquid hydrogen available onsite as an aviation fuel is vital for the sector.

Airport chief executive, Justin Watson, says they're enabling innovation and collaboration to drive decarbonisation.
