Christchurch's Mayor says feedback on the new metro sports centre has been largely positive, despite some early challenges

Christchurch's Mayor says feedback on the new metro sports centre has been largely positive, despite some early challenges

More than 160 incidents were reported at Parakiore in its first month, 33 involving hydroslides.

Around two thousand people have received parking tickets, mostly for failing to enter their car registration.

Phil Mauger says parking conditions weren't well signposted, but this is being addressed.

He says council's waived tickets that have a good excuse - adding 95 percent of people saw the sign.
