    A man on the run in Rolleston, south of Christchurch, has been caught

    A man on the run in Rolleston, south of Christchurch, has been caught


    Officers have been searching for a man connected to a high speed chase through the town this morning.

    The man crashed his vehicle and fled on foot.

    Rolleston residents were told to secure their homes and vehicles just after 11am.

    A number of schools in the area were also put into lockdown.
