An early morning burglary.at a Christchurch service station

Police say they were called to the Harewood Road Caltex just before 3.20am, and are investigating it as a possible ram raid.

Servo manager Akash Sharma says a car pulled up at the front doors, and someone smashed their way in with a hammer.

He says at least two people pocketed lollies before the store security system kicked in, and the group took off in a waiting car.
