    The trial for a man accused of killing Senior Sergeant Lyn Fleming in Nelson on New Years Day, is being moved to Christchurch


    Hayden Donald Jason Tasker is charged with murdering Fleming and intentionally causing grievous bodily harm to her partner, Senior Sergeant Adam Ramsay.

    The pair were struck by a vehicle in Nelson's Buxton Square car park while on patrol in the early hours.

    Open Justice reports a High Court judge in Wellington has confirmed the the case will be transferred to the High Court at Christchurch.

    A pretrial hearing will be held in March.
