All Blacks lock Sam Darry is appreciative of his time with the Canterbury NPC team for playing a key role in his return to the international environment

All Blacks lock Sam Darry is appreciative of his time with the Canterbury NPC team for playing a key role in his return to the international environment

The 25-year-old is back in the All Blacks after a shoulder injury that caused him to miss the Super Rugby campaign, before making his comeback in the NPC with the champion red-and-blacks.

Darry - who missed Canterbury's NPC final triumph - says the domestic competition helped him rediscover his passion for rugby after a lengthy stint on the sidelines.
