    One person is missing after a car plunged into the water in Dunedin


    The accident happened on Portobello Road in Broad Bay just before 6am.

    Two 20-year-old women were thrown into the water and have been rescued. but the driver is still missing.

    Fire and Emergency spokesman Mau Barbara says crews are using a thermal imaging camera to search for the person.
