Hurricanes coach Jason Holland's been spoiled for choices in naming his side for Saturday's Super Rugby Trans Tasman match against the Brumbies in Canberra

Among the seven changes to the run-on 15, captain Ardie Savea returns to start at number eight, while Ruben Love returns to first-five after two weeks of concussion and injury niggles.

Dane Coles, James Blackwell, Devan Flanders, Billy Proctor and Julian Savea also regain starting spots.

Meanwhile Aaron Smith is rested from the Highlanders side to face the Waratahs in Dunedin with Kayne Hammington earning his 50th cap, getting a rare start.

Loose forward Shannon Frizzell is sidelined for up to six weeks with an ankle injury.
