Black plastic rubbish bags have been kicked to the kerb in Dunedin

Black plastic rubbish bags have been kicked to the kerb in Dunedin

From tomorrow, the city council will no longer collect the pre-paid rubbish bags - which are no longer sold.

Every household on kerbside collection routes, have received the city's new bin services at the start of the month.

It's part of the council's plan to reduce Dunedin's net carbon emissions to zero by 2030.
