    A Hamilton lawyer has admitted failing to pay 13 years of income tax, totalling 260-thousand dollars


    John Campion has pleaded guilty to one representative charge of evading income tax.

    The 80-year-old has been a practising lawyer since 1965 but decided to stop paying his income tax in 2005.

    That's despite being issued 23 reminder notices by Inland Revenue

    Campion has been remanded on bail until June, and could face jail time.
