    People are reported to be at the scene of a house fire this morning in Hamilton East


    Fire and Emergency says it responded to a blaze at a block of flats just after 6am.

    One of three flats was fully ablaze upon arrival and it was extinguished within an hour.

    A fire investigator is in attendance.

    St Johns says it sent one ambulance to the scene.
