    The Wellington Phoenix women's side will have to create history if they are to get a result in this afternoon's A-League football clash in Porirua


    They face off against Melbourne City, a side they have never secured a point against in seven previous meetings.

    Coach Bev Priestman says while the stats are against them, she is buoyed by their efforts in their most recent meeting last month.



    New signing Makala Woods has been named on the bench.
