A new flow of cash for Porirua's harbour

A new flow of cash for Porirua's harbour

The Government and Porirua city council have invested nearly eight million dollars into projects to help the harbour.

The initiatives to improve water quality include putting in more than 600 thousand plants on stream banks

30 full time jobs will be created over five years.

Porirua Mayor Anita Baker says a healthy harbour is a strategic priority for the council and an aspiration for all of the local community.
