    Heavy rain's returning to the lower North Island - after a brief reprieve from surface flooding this morning


    More falls are expected this afternoon - hardest around Porirua and the Kapiti Coast.

    Train services are now open between Paekakariki and Pukerua Bay, after an earlier slip.

    People are being urged to keep out of flood waters.
