Health New Zealand is warning it expects to confirm more cases of measles in the coming days, after another was confirmed in Wellington

This brings the number of known, current cases in the country to 11.

Hundreds of close contacts have been identified at Wellington College, and a number at Wellington Girls College, and many students have been told to stay home this week.

Health NZ says the risk of further measles cases, and close contacts being discovered, is very high.

Many can be connected to a Cook Strait ferry crossing earlier this month.
