The Transport Accident Investigation Commission will be investigating a helicopter crash that happened near Wellington's Makara Beach this morning

16 November 2025

The Robinson R66 crashed while carrying out agricultural work just before 8 o'clock.

The pilot was taken to Wellington Hospital.
