    Police have arrested a woman, over a recent stabbing at an Allen Street bar in Wellington


    Last Saturday night, Police were called to the Ace of Spades bar where a man was allegedly stabbed in the abdomen - sustaining serious injuries, during an altercation involving a small number of patrons.

    Police say they want to speak with anyone who witnessed or may have video footage of the incident.

    They say enquiries to date have found that other members of the public were present, when the altercation occurred.

    A 34-year-old woman's been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and will appear at the Wellington District Court tomorrow. 12-21-25 1355
