    Police are appealing for information on a spate of robberies targeting Hutt Valley bars


    Two masked men entered a bar on Upper Hutt's King Street, about 1.30am on Saturday, brandishing weapons.

    They fled in a vehicle, later abandoned.

    It's the third local bar targeted by armed offenders since December 10.

    Police are working to determine whether they're linked.
