    Live updates: Pro-Palestinian protesters march across Sydney Harbour Bridge

    Protesters in Sydney and Melbourne are marching in support of Palestinians in Gaza, with the Sydney Harbour Bridge closed to traffic. Follow live.


    Thousands of people are walking across the Sydney Harbour Bridge as part of a pro-Palestinian protest.

    The bridge will remain closed to traffic for longer than expected after the group changed its route.

    WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange was among those marching on a rainy Sunday in Sydney.
