    Christchurch's Hereford Street has now reopened - after a brawl which saw a person hospitalised


    Police cordoned off the Hereford Street bridge for a scene examination after a fight in the area around 3.30am.

    A St John spokesman says one person was taken to Christchurch Hospital in a critical condition, but is now stable.

    Police have arrested three people.
