    The body of a climber who fell in Mount Aspiring National Park yesterday has now been recovered


    Police received reports of the fall on Mount Earnslaw around 4pm yesterday, but the fall is believed to have happened earlier in the day.

    A rescue helicopter was sent to find the person - and a body was found near Earnslaw Hut about 8.20 last night.

    The death's been referred to the coroner.
