A school bus driver's been left very shaken, after being involved in a two-vehicle crash north of Auckland

A school bus driver's been left very shaken, after being involved in a two-vehicle crash north of Auckland

Emergency services were called yesterday to the collision near the intersection of State Highways 1 and 12, on the South side of the Brynderwyns.

Multiple people were treated for injuries, including five who were taken to Whangarei Hospital in a moderate condition.

Leabourn Passenger Service director Lyndon Leabourn says the driver is now at home and has been with the company for some time.

He says he'll check in with the driver again tomorrow with more support information.

Leabourn expects the driver will have some time off work before getting back behind the wheel.
