A call for change in the safety measures taken when kayaking at sea

A call for change in the safety measures taken when kayaking at sea

It follows the disappearance of Koyren Campbell on Wellington's South Coast.

The 22 year old went missing after his kayak was found abandoned in Tarakena bay just over a week ago.

His employer David Downer says people need to take note of the tragedy, and invest in a 500-dollar safety beacon.
