    A helicopter has airlifted one of two people seriously injured at a North Canterbury intersection


    Police were alerted to the two-car crash where Lineside Road meets Bramleys Road at 7:15.

    A St John spokesman says both patients are in a serious condition with one of them flown to Christchurch Hospital by helicopter.

    The second was transported by ambulance.
