A truck driver was almost left crying over spilt milk in Hamilton this morning

A truck driver was almost left crying over spilt milk in Hamilton this morning

His milk truck disappeared at an Ulster Street petrol Station just after 4am - while he was inside dropping off a delivery.

Inspector Andrea McBeth says the driver could track the vehicle and called in Police, who brought the truck to stop with spikes on Waingaro Road.

The driver refused to leave the truck cab, and officers smashed a window to carry out an arrest.

A 32-year-old's appeared in court today, charged with unlawfully taking a vehicle.
