Auckland Transport is appealing for information and dashcam footage to track down 75-thousand dollars worth of stolen road safety fencing on the North Shore

More than 60 fence panels were taken from the top of a newly built retaining wall - between Albany's Silver Moon Road and the raised pedestrian crossing on Gills Road.

Around 50 went missing at the end of last year, and more were taken last week.

It follows the theft of 10 panels from a recently repaired site on Long Bay's Glenvar Road site in early November.
