    A major roading project in Rolleston, south of Christchurch, has hit a new milestone


    NZTA is putting out a call for a contractor to carry out Stage 1 of a 180-million dollar infrastructure upgrade for the town.

    It includes a new roundabout at the intersection of Stage Highway 1, Dunns Crossing and Walkers Roads - aimed at easing congestion, streamlining freight, and improving safety .

    Construction is set to take a couple of months beginning in October next year.
