    A man's been arrested after a group of dirt bikers fled Police across Auckland yesterday evening


    Police were called to reports of dangerous driving by about 15 riders at Mission Bay's Achilles Point, about 5pm.

    They took off, allegedly crossing the centre line and riding on the footpath to escape.

    The eagle helicopter followed them across the city to Manukau, where one rider was arrested trying run away.

    Two bikes have been impounded and a 26-year-old man's appearing in court today on a dangerous driving charge.
