Auckland fire crews are dampening down a large house fire in Remuera this morning

Fire and Emergency received multiple calls about the burning two-storey property at 1am this morning.

A spokesperson says crews from nine fire trucks attended.

Two crews remain and a fire investigator will arrive at the scene later this morning.

Meanwhile, nine fire trucks are at a 15 storey residential building in central Auckland, with reports of smoke logging on the 4th floor.

A Fire and Emergency spokesperson says they were called out shortly after 5am this morning.
