Politicians are being told to focus on fixing problems that impact all New Zealanders

Politicians are being told to focus on fixing problems that impact all New Zealanders

Maori Party MP Rawiri Waititi was kicked out of the House yesterday, after claiming National has a racist rhetoric ... which Judith Collins denies.

He was followed out by his co-leader Debbie-Ngarewa Packer and Green MP Teanau Tuiono.

National Maori Authority chair Matthew Tukaki says ideas should be contested in Parliament - but race shouldn't be pulled in.

He says if politicians can't do the job they've been elected to do - they should resign and let someone else get on with the work.
