    Fire crews have contained a huge blaze at a Taupo high school to the building it started in

    Fire crews have contained a huge blaze at a Taupo high school to the building it started in


    Fire and Emergency crews from 8 areas were sent to the fire at Taupo-nui-a-Tia College just after 2.10 this afternoon.

    Firefighters are still attacking the fire from all sides of the building, but have been able to stop it from spreading to neighbouring structures.

    The school will be closed tomorrow - and people are urged to keep off the grounds.
