A temporary education hub has opened for Northland secondary students, cut off from their schools by a massive slip

The weather event last month caused a landslide at Helena Bay Hill on Russell Road.

The Education Ministry says a small number of students from four schools will be able to keep learning at the hub set up at Whangaruru School.

They will work at their current year levels using learning packs supplied by their home schools.
