    A Waikato woman has interim name suppression after a court appearance charged with the attempted murder of a toddler


    The 33-year-old has appeared via audio-visual link in the High Court at Hamilton today - over an alleged incident in a small town involving the 3-to-4 year old, last Tuesday.

    It's understood the offending involved a weapon.

    Police say the woman was arrested after inquiries following a toddler arriving at hospital with critical injuries.
