A 31-year-old Northland man's due in court today, in relation to a police pursuit across Auckland yesterday

Police chased a car with mismatched plates driving erratically in Western Springs - which continued to flee, after being spiked more than once.

Officers tracked it to the carpark at Onehunga's Dress Smart, and arrested a man.

Police say the vehicle's now been confirmed as stolen.
