A man's been found guilty of murdering two people at a 21st birthday in Gisborne - in March last year

Libya Tamihere pleaded not guilty to fatally stabbing Chrysler Stevens-Mark and Kane Wiremu Te Paa.

He made the same plea on charges of wounding two others with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

After two days of deliberations in the High Court at Gisborne, a jury unanimously found him guilty on all four counts.

Another man facing related charges died earlier this year.

Tamihere will be sentenced in October.
