    A rahui's been placed on the Whanganui River, after a person's gone missing from the nearby Taumaranui area

    A rahui's been placed on the Whanganui River, after a person's gone missing from the nearby Taumaranui area


    It spans from Victory Bridge, where the person went missing, to Whakahoro - and remains while recovery efforts are carried out.

    Swimming, fishing and other water-related activities will be off-limits during this time.
