    A man accused of causing injuries that left a three-month-old Masterton baby in a critical condition at Starship Hospital is staying behind bars for now


    Open Justice reports the 34-year-old's been granted interim name suppression in Masterton District Court today.

    He faces charges of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, after Police found the infant with critical injuries on Thursday night.

    He will be remanded in custody to appear next on July 7.
