Police have confirmed four people died in a house fire involving children in Manawatu's Sanson - with one body still not found

Emergency services were called to the property, southwest of the town on State Highway 1, about 2.30pm on Saturday.

The bodies of two children and an adult were recovered from the scene yesterday - with family present.

Police say investigators will focus on finding and recovering the third child today, and will complete a thorough scene examination.

They say they aren't seeking anyone in relation to the fire.
