    Emergency services are responding to a serious crash on the Kapiti Expressway, near Otaihanga, north of Paraparaumu


    Police were called to the scene just before 2.

    It's understood a woman in a single vehicle crash has left the vehicle, and been hit by another vehicle.

    She is in a serious condition.

    Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible, and be prepared for delays.
