The Silver Ferns will be without their captain for tonight's quad series match against the New Zealand under-21s in Palmerston North

Ameliaranne Ekenasio won't play due to planned load management, nor will shooter Te Paea Selby-Rickit.

Both had been struggling with niggles before the series.

Vice-captain Jane Watson will be the on-court skipper instead.
