    A home semifinal playoff match has been a long time coming for Manawatu in rugby's NPC


    They'll meet Otago in this evening's championship semi in Palmerston North, with the winner taking on either Taranaki or Southland in the decider.

    The last time Manawatu hosted a semi final was 2014, and coach Peter Russell says it's a great opportunity to be at home in a sudden death contest.



    Kick-off is at 7:05pm.
