    Police say it's lucky no one was injured when officers were shot at in Palmerston North this afternoon


    Three people are now in custody following the incident on Robinson Crescent in Highbury today.

    The Armed Offenders Squad and Police negotiation team were sent in after shots were fired.

    Cordons have now been lifted and Police say charges are being considered as they continue to investigate.
