Officers found a man in his 60s dead in the rockpools of Wellington's Breaker Bay yesterday morning, and have been working to identify the man, whose death is being treated as unexplained.

A woman then died in Ngaruawahia, following a fight in the afternoon, with officers carrying out scene examinations on Jordan Street and Waipa Esplanade.
