Police aren't seeking further information from the public after a fatal Manawatu house fire on Saturday, in Sanson

A Givealittle page has identified the four who died as father Dean Field, and children Goldie, August and Hugo.

Field's death has been referred to the coroner, and one child's body still hasn't been found.

Area Commander Inspector Ross Grantham told RNZ it's a confronting case.

He says support will be in place for all those who need it, including officers and members of the public.
