A 22 year old Hawke's Bay man has been exposed as the planner of a mass killing and a distributor of child sexual exploitation material

Open Justice reports Ronndog Keefe pleaded guilty to 13 charges including collecting and distributing thousands of videos and images of child sexual abuse.

The man, who declared himself a 'soldier of Christ' was also planning to carry out a stabbing attack at a mosque or mall targeting Muslim men.

A search of his house found a machete and a bayonet.

He's been sentenced to five years and four months prison and will be placed on the child sex offender registry.
