Kiwis international Nelson Asofa-Solomona could be about to deflect to rugby union

The 25 year old who plays for the Melbourne Storm is contemplating a move to Japanese Rugby with his status in the NRL unclear.

Asofa-Solomona is unvaccinated against COVID-19 and has been unable to join the Storm's preseason training due to the state of Victoria's protocols.
