Record house sales on the West Coast

New figures from the Real Estate Institute show the number of homes being sold around the country for February reached a 14-year high.
Nationally, sales volumes were up 15-percent on a year earlier.
On the West Coast sales jumped 58 percent - from 50, to 79 houses - the highest since March 2004 and the highest ever for February.
REINZ - says local agents report an uplift in inquiries - partly due to the affordability.
The median house price on the West Coast is 299 thousand dollars - up 22 percent from the same time last year.
