A warning for those travelling to and from the South Island's West Coast, to expect delays

The Transport Agency's closing State Highway 6 at the Gates of Haast Bridge from 10am until midday, and again from 1 to 3pm, for urgent repairs.
There's no detour available, so motorists may have to wait for up to two hours.
