Ten people have been arrested and are facing over 70 drug charges in Southland and Otago

Police seized 16 thousand dollars, ammunition, drugs, and other drug paraphernalia uncovered in a series of search warrants targeting drug dealers with gang connections.

The 10 people face charges, from supplying methamphetamine, MDMA, cocaine, LSD and cannabis, to possession of restricted weapons and ammunition.

Detective Senior Sergeant Greg Baird say investigations are ongoing and they expect to make more arrests in coming days.
