Police are searching for information after a man robbed an Invercargill dairy this morning, and threatened staff with a knife

The man entered Collingwood Foodcentre, on North Road, around 3 o'clock and eventually left with cash and tobacco.

Police say the offender's around 182-centimetres tall, wore a grey hoodie, blue pants, a black balaclava and sunglasses.

They say the victims weren't injured - but are very shaken.

Anyone with information's urged to call 105 or Crimestoppers anonymously.
